On Thursday, September 28th, at 4PM the Middle East History and Theory Workshop is excited to welcome Dr. Roy Marom, Postdoctoral Fellow at Tel Aviv University, who will present his research project, titled "The Moshavot: Inter-communal Encounters in Ottoman Palestine, 1878-1914."

"The Moshavot: Inter-communal Encounters in Ottoman Palestine, 1878-1914"
Dr. Marom was previously Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of History at UC Berkeley and completed his PhD in 2022 at the University of Haifa with a dissertation entitled Dispelling Desolation: The Expansion of Arab Settlement in the Sharon Plain and the Western Part of Jabal Nablus, 1700-1948.
